I JUST GOT SAVED
I Just Got Saved
Welcome to the family of God! The first step is to contact us so we can pray with you, answer questions you have, and send you a free gift. Below are a few simple steps you can take until we connect.
Read the Bible
The Bible is the perfect written Word of God. Everything in your new relationship with God will come from what you will learn in the Bible. We recommend reading a Bible which is easy for you to understand like the NLT (New Living Translation) or ESV (English Standard Version). You can start now by visiting Bible Gateway or downloading a Bible app for your phone. Begin by reading the Gospel of John. It is the fourth book in the New Testament.
Pray to God
Prayer is simply talking to God every day. If you want to get to know God more deeply then you must begin communicating with Him. Our communication with God is called prayer. Now that you are saved and a child of God, the Bible tells you to pray to God the Father in Jesus Name.
Be Baptized with Water
Baptism is an outward sign of the inward work Christ did within you when you got saved. It is a symbol of your new identification with Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection. For more information, you can visit our page here.
Attend a Church Service
Regular attendance of Church services is very important for your Christian life. It is the place God uses to build you up. Our door at Calvary is always open to you and you can come as you are. If you are not in the area, find a Church that teaches Jesus Christ is the Son of God, truth from the Bible, and obedience to the Word of God.
Tell Someone About Your Salvation Experience
Now that you’re a Christian, don’t keep it a secret – it’s a celebration! Share with your friends and family about how you got saved and the hope God has given you. Invite them to come to Church with you.
